Creating magical spaces
Play Tents — screen-free adventures

Hand-picked, safety-tested, screen-free

Why Play Tents exists — and why it matters

I'm the daydreamer behind Play Tents — an only child who spent years drawing, building sofa-cushion dens and staring out of windows. When I went looking for tents that were genuinely made for that kind of play, almost nothing measured up.

So I built a shop around the few that did — proper fabric, real safety paperwork, and a person on the other end of every order.

“Today I'm an adult, and I still get my best hours under a garden umbrella.”

Genuine stock, properly papered

Real Podsplay and moi mili products, with the safety documentation to back them up. No grey-market copies, no unbranded lookalikes.

14-day returns

If it isn't right for your family, send it back — no drama.

Shipped straight from the makers

Your order is packed and sent by the workshop that made it, on a tracked service. No warehouse detour in the middle.

How this actually works

I don't keep a stockroom. When you order, it goes to the workshop that makes it — Podsplay for the sensory tents, moi mili for the cotton teepees and canopies — and they send it to you directly, tracked.

That's a deliberate choice, not a shortcut. It means I can carry a proper range without charging you for storage nobody needs, and the people who made the thing are the ones handling it right up to your door.

What I do is decide what earns a place on the site, check the paperwork behind it, and answer every email myself.

Two little worlds

One shared idea: spaces that help children play, read, rest and imagine without a screen in sight.

Cosy Corner

Cotton teepees, canopies and fairy lights that turn a bedroom corner into a proper reading nook. The kind of den I'd have refused to come out of as a kid.
